The Ghost Protocol: Our Privacy Philosophy

At Ghost Fast, we believe your health journey is your business, not ours. Our app is built on the principle of Inherent Anonymity. We don't want your name, your email, or your data. To us, you are a ghost — and that's exactly how we like it.

1. Data We DO NOT Collect

Unlike most fasting apps, we do not operate a centralized server for user data.

  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or social media profiles.
  • No Account Creation: There is no “Sign in with Google/Apple.” You start the app and start your fast.
  • No Behavioral Tracking: We do not track your GPS location, your browsing history, or how you use other apps on your device.

2. Where Your Data Lives (Local-Only Storage)

All data you enter into Ghost Fast — including your fasting start/end times, weight logs, and water intake — is stored locally on your device.

  • Encryption: Your data is protected by your device's native encryption (iOS Keychain).
  • The “Ghost” Risk: Because we do not store your data on a server, we cannot “recover” it for you. If you delete the app or lose your phone, your data is gone forever — unless you use our Manual Export feature.

3. Data Export & Backups

You are the sole owner of your data. We provide a feature to export your logs into a standard format (JSON/CSV).

  • Your Cloud, Your Choice: You can choose to save this file to your personal iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
  • Our Access: We have zero visibility into these files once they are exported.

4. Third-Party Services

  • App Store: When you purchase Ghost Fast, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your credit card or billing information.
  • System Health Data (Optional): If you grant permission, we may read your step count or weight from Apple Health. This data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers.

5. Children's Privacy

Ghost Fast is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. Because we do not collect data, we cannot “know” the age of our users, but we strongly advise parents to supervise their children's digital health tools.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Even though we don't hold your data, we fully support your rights:

  • Right to Access: Your data is always available to you within the app.
  • Right to Erasure: Simply delete the app, and all your data is permanently removed from your device.
  • Right to Portability: Use the “Export Data” button in settings to take your history with you.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our “Ghost Protocol,” we will notify you via an in-app update. However, our commitment to zero-data collection is the DNA of this app and will not change.
